This graphic book received the 2012 Sue Alexander Scholarship Award for best unpublished manuscript from the Southern California Society of Children’s Books/Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).  Had initial interest from an agent and editor for publication.  After making suggested changes, their interest evaporated.  Contacted a number of other agents and editors with no results.

Alec and Gabi Clayton (Clayton Works) of Olympia Washington started Mud Flat Press.  Through them SQUAWK! was reformatted for publication.  A print version is now available on CreateSpace E-store and a digital version on Amazon.
